Description:
Humans created a mutant race- the Diclonius. These mutants were marked by two "protrusions"- horns
(NOT cat ears!) coming out of their head- one on each side. Female Diclonius (or at least the ones you are shown..)
have pink hair, and their horns look like cat ears. Male Diclonius are bald and their horns are smaller than the females.
Diclonius have four invisible arms called Vectors. The vectors vibrate so fast that they can cut through anything. (Male Diclonius
don't seem to have vectors either.) These mutants never use their vectors on animals, just humans, so they are the natural
enemies of the Human Race. One day, Lucy, a diclonius girl breaks out of her detention cell and tries to escape, killing 25
people in less than 10 minutes. Lucy suffers a bullet to the head and looses her memory.
The next morning, Kohta, a college student, returns
to the city which he'd visited 8 years ago. Kohta and his cousin, Yuka, who's attending the same college, discover
a strange girl at the beach. The girl is naked and has strange horns coming out of her head. The girl does not seem to know
anything and cannot even talk. All she says is "Nyuu", so Yuka and Kohta decide to call her that.
These three, within the next few months, endure
unthinkable twists and turns, until finally, all of them soon realize the horrible events of eight long years ago.
