I don't officially work, but currently I'm working on a manga called Haru no Tama.
ToOlS oF tHe TrAdE: I use my woodless graphite pencils- they have no wood so I don't have to sharpen as much.
They come in the different mediums, and my favorite is 3B because I like it softer so I can shadow.
I have, in the past, used Copic Color Markers. They are excellent
quality and I reccomend them to any artist. They're like a new breed of marker- A cross between a paintbrush and a sharpie!
They have the normal size, and for inking they have various sizes of black markers.
I like my knead eraser (aka Gummy Eraser) because it's fun as well as useful. You
can be more precise on the erasing- You can shape it, roll it, rub it- anything you can imagine!
Last but not least, I use various types of paper. For my copics, I use thin, alchoholic marker paper. No matter
how much I press on the copic, I can't seem to go through it, though it's thin paper. For all my other tools, I like to use
paper from any sketchbook. I like it slightly thick, so it will be stronger, to last longer.
