Walmart
I love Walmart, with good reason. Last night, I decided to do an investigation. I'd been at Walmart with my
mom and I was thinking- I couldn't get to the Metaphysical Store, so I was looking at Walmart to find good products that I
could use in my workings, and report back to you guys! Fortunately, the experiment went well. Here's the results...
Here I will list the things I found at Walmart... (this is not ALL the things they have there, just the things i found
in a short while!)
-Candles, and Wax melts to make candles
-Clear glass bowl-ish things (in crafts department). (Can be used for gazing.)
-Incense (One of the gift packs comes with 10 sticks, 10 more sticks ((different flavor)), 10 cones, and an incense burner
that has four
triquetras on it!)
-Oils (yay- I bought Rose Oil!)
Shoprite, Pathmark, Wegman's (and other Grocery Stores)
Obviously, Grocery stores are pretty ideal for basic items!
-Herbs (both fresh and dried)
-Rose Water (if you can find some- I found a bottle at Wegman's once, but I haven't seen any since. It should be in the
Mediterranian Food Section)
-Much more that I'm too lazy to think of right now... lemme talk to Alone about this one!
Rag Shop
Rag Shop is DEFINATELY a place you want to go!
-Wooden rods (if you're REALLY lazy, you could probably use one for a wand or to carve into a sword/athjame...)
-Cloth (to cover your altar... or for a cloak?)
-Glass bowls, vials (for oil), etc.
-A whole lot more... but since I'd like these descriptions to stop here... I'll leave it to the imagination. WHY DONT
YOU GO THERE INSTEAD OF SITTING HERE READING ABOUT IT!?!?!? lol
